These explicit calculations can model images that impart a strong feeling for a specific time of the day.<br \/>\nThe fact that aspects of reality can be simulated by a set of instructions operating on information is something I still find surprising.<br \/>\nThe modelling of reality mathematically should be astonishing but it isn\u2019t. It has become commonplace and is accepted without a thought. I find this slightly disconcerting. Is this a case of confusing the map with the territory?<br \/>\nThese ideas are not new but I still find them interesting, partly because I appreciate that reality is not something that is casually understood. What happens when inanimate objects or a time of day can be expressed as pure data? Information is not knowledge. Information without understanding is a list.
